Terms of Service

1. Your account

To use Pulse you need an account provisioned by your employer or by Nurix. You must keep your credentials confidential and you are responsible for actions taken under your account. Notify us promptly at security@nurix.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Permitted use

You agree not to:

• Use Pulse to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts you are not authorized to access.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the service except as permitted by law.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property, contains malware, or contains personal data you do not have a lawful basis to provide.
• Use Pulse output (including AI-generated content) to make final employment decisions without human review.
• Probe, load-test, or benchmark the service without written permission.

3. Customer data

As between you and Nurix, you own the data you submit to Pulse (“Customer Data”). You grant Nurix a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the service. Our handling of personal data within Customer Data is governed by the Privacy Notice and, where applicable, a signed Data Processing Agreement.

4. AI-assisted features

Pulse offers AI-assisted features that generate suggestions, drafts, and summaries. These outputs are probabilistic and may be incorrect, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing any AI output before acting on it. The AI Processing Addendum sets out additional terms.

5. Intellectual property

Pulse, including all software, designs, and trademarks, is owned by Nurix or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use Pulse for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted by implication.

6. Fees

If your employer has signed an order form or subscription agreement with Nurix, fees and billing are governed by that document. If you use Pulse without such an agreement, we may suspend or terminate access at any time.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or its users. Where practicable we will give reasonable notice. On termination we will delete or return Customer Data as described in the Privacy Notice.

8. Disclaimer

Pulse is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nurix disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of AI-generated output. You use Pulse at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nurix’s aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by the customer for the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 1,000. Nurix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Nurix against third-party claims arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of Pulse, or (c) Customer Data that infringes a third party’s rights or violates applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without reference to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise. Customers outside India retain the protections of their local consumer law where applicable.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes bump the version (shown above) and trigger a renewed acceptance prompt in Pulse. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
